First quality blanket fleece, unwashed and unprocessed, straight from shearing and sorted to ensure it contains minimal vegetable matter. £3 per 100 grams.
The blanket or sadle is the best part of the fleece. Alpaca fibre is warm, soft and hypoallergenic because it has no lanolin. It is water and fire resistent. Fleece can be used for spinning, wet and needle felting, and other crafts. 100 grams gives quite a large volume as the fibre is light. A lovely selection of natural colours from our own herd of alpacas. All our alpacas are cared for with kindness, their fleece is removed every year for their own welfare and means we have this lovely natural product.
